Applications of ultrasonic transducer:
The ultrasonic flow sensor measures liquid flow rate by transmitting ultrasonic wave in the liquid medium. In addition to flow metering, it can also be used for liquid level measurement. Working principle of ultrasonic transducer:
The piezoelectric ultrasonic transducers are used in an ultrasonic flow meter, it uses sound waves to determine the velocity of a fluid flowing through a closed pipe, and its reflections from the fluid are the same. The transmitter processes upstream and downstream times to determine the flow rate.
What is it made of: ultrasonic sensor:
The ultrasonic transducer of high frequency, which is made up of an active element, a backing, and wearplate. Its active element is a piezoelectric or single crystal material which converts electrical energy to ultrasonic energy. It will also then receives back ultrasonic energy and converts it to electrical energy.
